ZTE Axon M with Two Screens Coming To China Soon

In November this year, ZTE introduced a new phone named the ZTE Axon M. The highlight of the phone is the foldable design. Thanks to it you can use the Axon M as a small laptop or fold it back and use it as a regular smartphone that sports two full-featured screens. Can’t say whether it’s practical or not, but if a big company like ZTE comes in with such an idea, it means there is a certain demand for such handsets. Moreover, seems Samsung will launch a handset with identical appearance and features in the nearest future. At last, there is the Russian YotaPhone that has launched a few models with two displays placed on both sides. Today it became known, the ZTE Axon M is going to release in China. At least, the phone has passed through TENAA and is ready for a final launch.

There are two 5.2-inch screens on both sides connected via a hinged structure. Each of screens provides a 1080p resolution. Thus the ZTE Axon M is capable of providing a great viewing experience at 6.75 inches in total.

The TENAA documents showcase there are no changes in design. The only noticeable change is the lack of the AT&T logo on the back. But the Chinese version will come with an improved memory combination of 6+128GB instead of 4+64GB seen at the AT&T variant. The rest of hardware remains unchanged as well. Thus the phone comes with a Snapdragon 820 chip, 20MP rear main camera, 3180mAh battery, and Android 7.1.2 out of the box. Thanks to dual-screen appearance the ZTE Axon M can run two different apps at the same time providing a notebook-like multi-tasking experience.

The phone has been priced at $725 in the US. So it’s expected to release at 5000 yuan in the domestic market.
