ZTE To Come In With A Double-Bangs Screen Phone in 2019-2020
Undoubtedly, the notch screen design has become a mainstream. And seems there is no manufacturer not launched a similar model. However, the bangs screen design has been invented to increase the screen share and provide better viewing experience. But it affects the users’ operations and sacrifices the phones’ beauty. That’s why many companies are working on smartphones with a 100% of screen share. Among them, we can mention the VIVO APEX and the Huawei Honor 10. The first model has been introduced at the MWC 2018 and is promised to come later this year, while the second one will launch on May 15. So we can state the most of manufacturers imitate Apple, and only a few of them are working hard on an innovative solution. Seems ZTE wants to belong to the second group.
An interesting phone has appeared on the German iF international design website. It comes our way from ZTE, as you guess. Though nothing is known about its hardware, the photos show this manufacturer wants to use a quite different approach to the phone look.
To provide some symmetry to the phone’s front panel that carries a bangs screen, the manufacturer has made an identical cut on the chin. Thus the ZTE phone comes with a double-bangs design. But it’s not only a matter of appearance. The manufacturer divided the sensors into two parts. If the front camera and the proximity sensor are placed on the upper bangs, the speaker is on the bottom.
According to the German iF international design website, this phone uses a seamless glass connection technology to combine two pieces of glass into one. That’s why the company called it an ‘ice’. The four corners of the phone are transparent. In addition, this phone also supports wireless charging.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to get our hands on this handset in the nearest future. As the source mentions it will take 13-24 months. Thus the ZTE’s innovative phone will debut in 2019 or 2020.
