A Mysterious VIVO Phone Leaked on Geekbench

Today, AnTuTu released the top performance list of Android handsets for June. The VIVO NEX appeared on it for the first time. And surprisingly it landed in the second position behind the Black Shark, which is considered to have the best software and hardware optimization. Regularly, OnePlus models outrun their competitors. But this time, the NEX was a step forward. This simply means VIVO could reach a state when its flagships are ready to compete with any top brand, including Samsung and Xiaomi. On the other hand, this is also binding. Probably this is why the company is working on another flagship, which was spotted in the GeekBench screenshot.

As you can see, the phone carries a codename of ‘Vivo Vivo 1805.’ It scores 2445 in the single-core test and 9121 points in the multi-core test. Shortly, this is another top-notch model. The screenshot also reveals it will be packed with a Snapdragon 845 flagship chip, paired with an 8GB of RAM. This mysterious phone is said to come with Android 8.1 pre-installed. On the contrary, the VIVO NEX scores 2437 and 9124 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

Actually, there is no hint what a smartphone we are dealing with. We mean the VIVO NEX in two variants was announced quite recently. The manufacturer should bet on them basically. Of course, there have been announced multiple mid-range and low-end models, but they mainly focus on emerging markets. So it’s quite mysterious what the manufacturer will do with this phones.
