Detailed review of the R-TV Box S10 with real images and video found at @Geekbuying

As the winter is coming, the use of a good TV Box, is really needed. By this way, you can gather friends and family and watch all together movies, series, surf on the net and many more things. For this reason I needed something really good and I found the R-TV Box S10, with S912 SoC and 3GB/32GB memory at Geekbuying.

R-TV Box S10 came to me by post from Geekbuying. As always came very well protected from hits and falls. Opening the protective package, came across a square black box. On the one side it was written in the middle S10 with golden letters. Under it on the one angle we can see written the words R-TV Box. On the opposite side all we can see is that it is made in China.

Opening the box, inside we can find the S10 TV Box. On the upper side there was a see-through sticker on it, protecting it from scratches. The tv box is well kept inside a protective plastic bag. Except from the tv box, inside we can find a power adapter (normally Geekbuying sends the right power adapter according to the shipping country, but in my case they accidentally send me with a Chinese adapter), a remote control which needs two AAA batteries to function, a HDMI cable and a user manual.

As you can see and in the photo, the remote control looks very beautiful with this purple color. The manual is written in english, so you can easily see how to operate the R-TV Box S10. As for the power adapter, in my case had to use a adapter to change it from Chinese to EU, but except from that there was no problem.

The R-TV Box S10 is a black box, with aluminum panel on top for protecting the box from overheating, which is also very shinny. It features 1 x HDMI, 3 x USB ports and 1 x USB OTG, 1 x SPDIF, 1 x AV, 1 x Micro SD card (TF card) reader, 1 x RJ45 LAN Port of 1000M and 1 x 5V/2A DC power supply..

R-Tv Box S10 is equipped with the octacore Amlogic S912 with ARM Cortex-A53 as CPU and for GPU has ARM Mali-T820MP3 GPU up to 750MHz (DVFS). This version of the S10 has 3GB DDR4 RAM and 32GB eMMC internal storage. You can also find it in 2/16, 3/64 and 3/16 version. S10 tv box is running Android 7.1.2 out of the box.

The R-TV Box S10 supports WiFi, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4G/5G, Ethernet up to 1000M and finally Bluetooth v4.1 for connecting with other devices.

R-Tv Box S10 supports VP9-10 Profile-2 up to 4Kx2K@60fps, H.265 HEVC [email protected] up to 4Kx2K@60fps, H.264 AVC [email protected] up to 4Kx2K@30fps, H.264 MVC up to 1080P @60fps, MPEG-4 ASP@L5 up to 1080P@60fps (ISO-14496), WMV/VC-1 SP/MP/AP up to 1080P@60fps and many more. When the S10 is connected to the power and is powered on, a blue light comes out of the front panel, indicating that the tv box is working. If it becomes red, then it is sleep time for the S10. As we have told you, the upper panel is from aluminum for the heat and on the bottom side there are plenty of gapps to circulate the air.
