Doogee Sliding Full-Screen Smartphone Coming Soon

Recently, the ‘sliding full-screen smartphones’ have been on fire. The brands such as Xiaomi, Honor, and Lenovo have successively launched full-screen sliders. They are the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, Honor Magic 2, and Lenovo Z5 Pro. In addition to the above-mentioned smartphone brands that we are familiar with, another Chinese phone manufacturer will also launch a similar sliding full-screen handset soon. On November 25, the much-famous @BenGeskin released the rendering of the full-screen Doogee phone. As shown in the figure, this new machine adopts the sliding cover design, which has a very high screen ratio and looks like identical to the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 when looking from the back. There is still the vertical dual-camera+ back fingerprint recognition combination.

According to the data provided by @BenGeskin, the Doogee sliding full-screen phone uses a 6.39-inch LCD display, while the body measurements are 157 × 74.8 × 9.0mm. Compared with the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, it is thicker as it comes with dimensions of 157.89 x 74.69 x 8.46mm. Unfortunately, the configuration information about this slider phone is still unclear.

Compared with the traditional 18:9 full-screen smartphone, the slider mobile phone has its own advantages. Due to this design, it achieves a higher screen ratio, and the visual effect is outstanding. However, there is no guess whether this design will go viral or not because these manufacturers have come in with such models in order to provide a higher screen ratio and solve the problem related to the front camera module. As you know, they are not able to hide it under the screen like other elements. But we are getting more and more leaked photos of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10, which is said to come with an on-screen camera. So once it happens, most likely, all manufacturers will leave the sliding structure and switch to it.
