First Honor 5G Smartphone Will Come In The Fourth Quarter
Yesterday, Honor president Zhao Ming said in an interview that the Honor 5G smartphone is in the process of laboratory development and testing. So it will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year.
The company’s president also said that the Honor 5G smartphone will support SA and NSA. But the network construction of several major operators in China is still at a relatively early stage. It will take some time for the network and phone to run in the beginning. Domestically, after the fourth quarter of this year, 5G users will develop on a large scale. At present, apart from Huawei’s 5G smartphone supporting SA and NSA, most of them only support NSA. This inhibits the experience to some extent.
In addition, overseas sales of Honor phones have returned to the level before May 16. The weekly sales and daily sales are still higher than this time.
In the same interview, Zhao Ming also said the Honor Smart Screen will be launched in August. If you are unaware, this is the so-called Honor TV. The Honor Smart Screen is going to become not only an entertainment center for users but also an information-sharing center and more. Referring to the self-developed DaVinci architecture used in the 810 chip, Zhao Ming pointed out that AI should be an important development area in the next few years. This field needs continuous improvement within 5 to 10 years.
