Honor V20 Shown In Video: It Will Come With Great Camera

The first smartphone with the most innovative on-screen camera design is the Samsung Galaxy A8s that has been already launched. It will be followed by the Lenovo Z5s and the Huawei Nova 4. Both models are going to hit the market in the coming days. As you understand, these are the pioneers, and in 2019, we will see more models adopting this design. The first among them should be the Honor V20. We have heard too much about this device and today it’s been shown in a video.

The Honor V20 is going to be a genuine flagship, which will be packed with a Kirin 980 high-end SoC and a new and innovative feature made by Huawei itself, namely Link Turbo network-wide aggregation/split technology. Thus, it is going to be a beast not only in terms of performance but in terms of connectivity as well. The leaked AnTuTu screenshot showed the chip will be paired with an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

It may sound odd, but these two are not the key features of the Honor V20. As said, it is going to sport an on-screen camera design like the mentioned models. But unlike them, it will be a high-end smartphone. Therefore, most likely, the Honor V20 will compete with the Samsung Galaxy S10 rather than with the Nova 4 or the Lenovo Z5s that will be positioning on younger customers.

At the same time, the second selling point of the Honor V20 is going to be the 48MP camera, coming our way from Sony (IMX586 sensor). This lens is assumed to appear on all those models that have high ambitions. The sensor measures 1/2 inch, supports four-pixel integration (0.8μm synthesis 1.6μm) and 4x hardware HDR enhancement.
