Meizu Pro 7 Plus Smartphone Design, Hardware, Camera, Battery Review (Coupon Inside)

After seven month polishing, Meizu has finally released its annual flagship smartphone, Meizu Pro 7 and Meizu Pro 7 Plus, aiming at back screen, when bezel-less screen, curved screen have become the tendency, Meizu uses dual display to tell us they are looking for something new. Design

Meizu Pro 7 Plus adopts 5.7 inch 2K screen with vivid image quality, but there is minor change that the receiver is integrated proximity and light sensor, currently the front camera has upgraded to 16MP.

Back Screen

There are two ways to launch the back screen, one is to rotate the phone, the other is to double click screen.We can see there are four main functions in settings, such as notification, pedometer and weather information, and using the screen to  take photos. And it shows notifications.

Besides, Meizu has developed MP3 function, long press the power button to launch the sleep MP3 mode, switching it on, the phone will turn off, the screen will change to a pure MP3 window to listen to Music.

In addition, it can set up the wallpaper for the back screen, there are built in five dynamic wallpaper,and it has many other wall papers in its theme shops.

Performance

Meizu Pro 7 Plus adopts latest Helio X30 Deca core processor, in order to test Helio X30 performance, we test it by Antutu, GFXBench, PCMark, Androbench and the game ‘King of Glory’.

First, in Antutu test, Meizu Pro 7 has got 143,944 points, getting 12th rank, its score is similar to the phone with Snapdragon 821. According to processor comparison, Helio X30 performance is better than Snapdragon 835, but is much powerful than Kirin 960.

Second, GFXBench test. GFXBench test offers OnScreen, Offscreen two ways, there are four test items, T-Rex, Manhattan 3.0, Manhattan 3.1, Car Chase for OpenGL ES 2.0/3.0/3.1/3.1 standard respectively. The test pressure is much higher, ending in FPS to measure.

Third, PCMark test

Meizu Pro 7 Plus has got 6962 points in PCMark, which is higher than the top 1, HTC U11.

Fourth, Androbench test

Reading speed is at about 500MB/s.

Game Test

We test the game, King of Glory, during test, Meizu Pro 7 Plus has got over 55FPS, even large game, it will also keep over 50 FPS.

Camera

Meizu Pro 7 Plus continue to use Sony IMX386 Sensor, which is the first dual rear camera smartphone. It has dual 12MP rear camera, 1/2.3 inch pixel inch, 1.25μm,  let’s see its camera performance.

At daylight

Due to rainy day, Meizu Pro 7 Plus daylight samples are photographed in the cloudy day, the light is not enough.

We can see in micro distance without launching dual rear camera blurring mode, it has nice blurring background effect.

After playing King of Glory, Meizu Pro 7 Plus has got 70% power back, consuming 10% power, therefore, it can play this game about 4.5 or 5 hours.

After one hour, it has 54% power, consuming 15% power, therefore, it can watch videos continuously about 6.5 hours.

PCMark Battery test

In general, its battery doesn’t satisfy us, but considering a 5.7 inch 2K screen, we have to praise the power consumption of Helio X30 processor.
