Xiaomi Mi 9T Appeared On GeekBench, Looks Like Redmi K20

Xiaomi official has previously announced that the Xiaomi Mi 9T series will be released on June 12. According to previous reports, the Mi 9T is the same Redmi K20 but carries the Xiaomi brand name. It is also positioning overseas markets. Now, the machine has appeared on the Geekbench website, confirming everything we have heard about it.

The data shows that the Xiaomi Mi 9T will come pre-installed with the Android Pie system, a built-in 6GB RAM and an octa-core processor with a frequency of 1.8GHz. The main board part did not disclose the name of the chipset, but there is a hint – ‘DaVinci’. As you remember, the original Redmi K20 has also appeared on Geekbench, codenamed ‘DaVinci’. And it came with a 1.8GHz octa-core processor and 6GB of RAM. So there is every reason to think we are dealing with identical phones.

According to the previous news, the Xiaomi Mi 9T series will have two versions of 9T/9T Pro, which corresponds to the domestic Redmi K20 series. Moreover, there were some renderings proving the Xiaomi Mi 9T and Redmi K20 line handsets adopt the same appearance. The only difference is the Xiaomi logo that replaces the Redmi logo.

As for the launch date, Xiaomi has officially announced that the Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro will be released on June 12. From the certification information, we learned they will appear in many European and Asian markets such as Russia, Thailand, Poland, Singapore, and Taiwan.
