Xiaomi MI Note 2 VS Huawei Honor V9 Design, Antutu, Camera, Battery Review
Since more and more smartphones are coming at the beginning of this year, different brands start to release their first flagship of new year, Huawei as one of the biggest Chinese smartphone brands have released its first high-end smartphone,Huawei Honor V9 , which has very beautiful design and competitive performance, it can be the best rival of Xiaomi MI Note 2 currently. Design
Xiaomi MI Note 2 uses 5.7 inch dual curved OLED screen, 77.2% screen to boy ratio, it has a home button to support fingerprint scanner, the front design and back dual curved screen and metal frame makes the phone look very smooth holding in hands. It adopts 7 aviation aluminum alloy material, only 3mm thickness, and the back adopts glass design, camera is put in the middle of the back.
Huawei Honor V9 has a 5.7 inch 1440*2560 pixels screen, 2K resolution, 515 ppi density, clear image quality, excellent visual effect. And this time Huawei Honor V9 has red and blue color which are very beautiful. On the front design, it has a big LOGO of honor at the bottom, on the top, there is from 8MP front camera, light/proximity sensor and receiver from left to right, breathing light is hidden in the receiver.
Huawei Honor V9 adopts metal unibody, it has nice holding feel, two 12MP rear camera, 6.97mm thickness, 3.5mm standard earphone, USB Type C port and speaker on the bottom of the phone. On the top it has a de-noise microphone and Infrared remote controller.
Hardware
Xiaomi MI Note 2 is powered by Snapdragon 821 processor, 14nm FinFET LPP, built in 4*Kryo, 2.35GHz, Adreno 530 GPU, X12 LTE, Cat 12/13. According to Antutu test, it has 148,238 points, 57,650 3D mark, in Geekbench, it has got 1802 points in single core and 4087 points in multi-core. In Androbench (ROM) it has 106.08MB/s 4K random reading, 12.48MB/s 4K random writing.
Huawei Honor V9 is powered by Kirin 960 Octa core processor, RAM 6GB ROM 128GB internal storage, according to Antutu test, it has got 120,482 points, therefore, Huawei Honor V9 is similar to Xiaomi MI Note 2 in terms of performance.
Camera
Xiaomi MI Note 2 has 8MP front camera with IMX 268 sensor, F2.0 aperture, 5P lens with third generation beautification. It doesn’t adopt dual rear camera of Xiaomi MI5s plus but 22.56MP rear camera with Sony IMX318 sensor, F2.0 aperture, dual tone LED light, but it doesn’t adopt OIS function. Huawei Honor V9 runs EMUI 5.0 OS based on Android 7.0 OS, but Xiaomi mi note 2 runs MIUI 8 OS based on Android 6.0 OS, in theory, EMUI 5.0 OS can run faster and more fluently than MIUI 8 OS. After all EMUI 5.0 OS is one of biggest highlights of Huawei Honor V9. And Huawei Honor V9 supports fingerprint scanner on the back design, dual rear camera, VR, 4G LTE network, but Xiaomi MI Note 2 is well-known for dual curved screen, fingerprint scanner on the home button, 4G LTE network and global version.According to comparison, Xiaomi MI Note 2 has its own advantages in dual curved screen, hardware, but Huawei Honor V9 is good for its OS, design, and camera.
