Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus Officially Announced at Starting 1899 Yuan
As early as in June of this year, Xiaomi launched the Mi Pad 4. The ever-increasing smartphone screen squeezes the space for tablet PCs to survive. Current Android tablets are like a piece of chicken, and it is a pity to eat it. But Xiaomi has his own ideas. Just today, Xiaomi has once again launched a new product line of flat products – the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus.
Xiaomi officially said that when it launched the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4, it was promoted as a single-hand product. But there are still many users who look forward to a larger screen and a longer battery life that can provide a more enjoyable experience. That’s why the internals of both models are almost identical, while the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus has become larger in size.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus and Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 use the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE mobile platform, a 4GB LPDDR4X dual-channel memory, a 64/128GB eMMC 5.1 storage, while the former model’s battery capacity has been expanded to 8620mAh. According to the official introduction, it can provide up to 16 hours of video playback. Unfortunately, it still supports 5V/2A charging.
As a large-sized tablet, the screen is the most important feature of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus. It is equipped with a 10.1-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1920×1200. The screen ratio is 16:10 and the pixel density is 224PPI, but the contrast is reduced from 1200:1 to 1000:1. This tablet supports Eye mode, standard mode, enhanced mode, luminous screen, and color temperature adjustment in a smart adaptive mode.
In terms of body design, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus still uses an integrated metal body that is consistent with the original variant. Its three-dimensional size is 245.6*149.08*7.99mm and the weight reaches 485g. Unlike the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus has a fingerprint recognition button on the front and can also be used as the Home button.
In terms of the camera configuration, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus is equipped with the same configuration as the 8-inch variant – a 13-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing 5-megapixel camera that supports AI face recognition.
We have checked a couple of sources for the network features. Some of them claim the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus is available only in 4G version, but we have heard there is a dual-band WiFi support as well.
Finally, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus 64GB version is priced at 1899 yuan ($275), while the 128GB version is priced at 2099 ($305). There are two variants to choose from – black and gold.
At this moment, it’s offered at $359.99 for pre-order at GeekBuying.
