Chuwi Surbook Mini is packed in a hard paper box, when opening it, it has a Tablet PC, a Charger, a User manual, Chuwi product inspection report, useful reminder and a warranty card. About the Tablet PC, it has a 10.8 inch touched screen with 1920 x 1280 resolution,  10-point Touch Screen, which can increase better experience in searching the Internet and watching HD videos. It can be regarded as a 2 in 1 tablet pc with stylus pen support and also can be a drawing tablet pc. About its resolution, the color and clarity make us satisfy, whether we use it on Sunshine or dim light, the brightness can be adjusted well comfortable for our eyes. It has 26.80 x 18.30 x 0.88 cm / 10.55 x 7.2 x 0.35 inches dimensions, 0.7480 kg weight.

On the front design, it also has a front camera, 2MP for taking selfies or doing face-time. On the back, it has a 2MP back camera at the middle top, and a Chuwi logo in the lower back. This time Chuwi has make very humanized design on its back, because it adopts a 125 Degree Adjustable Kickstand itself, users don’t have to buy extra stand for it, then they can watch videos or do office work with the kickstand itself, very conveniently. And it is protected with metal back cover and aluminum alloy for sturdiness and lightweight.

As for two broadsides, on the right side, it has a 3.5mm earphone jack, two USB 3.0 ports+ USB Type C ( a charging port) which supports video, audio, and PD charge, and other functions, on the left side, there is no other ports, on the top side, it has a volume button and a power button. At the bottom, it only has Magnetic Docking which can support external keyboard.

Hands-on

When I hold Chuwi surbook mini, it is not very heavy and easy to hold and take outside for office work, as for processor, Chuwi Surbook Mini is powered by Intel Celeron N3450 Quad Core 1.1GHz, up to 2.2GHz processor, 4GB DDR3 RAM for Advanced Multitasking and  64GB eMMC5.1 ROM Storage Capacity, and it can be expandable to 128GB by a TF Card inside the kickstand. According to Geekbench, Surbook Mini has got 1177 points in single core processor and 2861 points in multi-core processor,  it runs Windows 10 OS, Intel 9th HD Graphics 500. Therefore, according to this result, i test it to search the Internet, watch videos, play games or do office work, it can be used fluently and smoothly, it is very useful to be as a tablet and a PC with a keyboard.

According to EMMC speed, it shows very good speed, I have downloaded many software to run this tablet pc, it is a pity that it doesn’t support SSD expansion on this model unlike Chuwi Lapbook 14.1, but it supports two x USB 3.0 + Type-C Interfaces at full USB 3.0 speeds, all ports can support external devices for more convenience.

Camera and Battery

Chuwi Surbook Mini comes with 2MP front and 2MP back camera, which are for basic use, we can not ask higher demands on a Tablet PC or PC, after all it is not a smartphone, besides, it is built in 27.38Wh, 8000mAh Li-ion polymer battery, which can support about 5 hours or more to use, depending on how you use it. I test it to charge , it takes about 2 and half an hour to charge full, sometimes even 3 hours. But the result is quite ideal compared with other tablet pcs.
