HTC U12 Specs List Shown on Verizon

The HTC U12+ will be a top-notch model with a quad-camera, a QHD+ resolution screen, 256GB of ROM, and tons of software innovations. But its regular version, which is assumed to launch at the same time with the higher variant, will come with less attractive features. Today, the original HTC U12’s specs were leaked showing it will be another Snapdragon 845-powered smartphone with regular features. So with the launch of this device the Taiwanese manufacturer will join the marathon.

According to the information shown on Verizon’s website, the HTC U12 is going to use a 6-inch 18:9 LCD screen. But unlike the most of its competitors, it won’t sport a bangs screen. As we said, under the hood, it will carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip paired with a 3500mAh capacity battery. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and has an IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating.

The HTC U12 looks like the HTC U11. It adopts a double-glazed glass design with a metal middle frame. The dual-camera is placed on the back. It is paired with a flashlight. The fingerprint scanner is located in the central part of the rear panel.

As ePrice claims, the HTC U12’s price tag will be identical to the HTC U11 128GB variant. Thus it should cost around NT 24,900, or about 5,300 yuan. In comparison to the top brands and their SND845-powered devices, this is quite an affordable price tag. But in comparison to the Chinese brands, the HTC U12 will have no chances.
